Dot Marie Jones, best known for her role as Coach Shannon Beiste on the hit show Glee, has tied the knot with fiancé Bridgett Casteen.
According to People, the 49-year old surprised friends and family with their impromptu nuptials. The lovebirds tricked family into thinking they were throwing a holiday party. Instead Jones and Casteen exchanged vows at their Los Angeles home.
The two first met back in December 2010. The Huffington Post notes that Jones proposed to Casteen at Disneyland's Gay Day Anaheim weekend. The two have been engaged for two months. At the time Casteen tweeted, “Thank you @dotmariejones for making me the happiest woman in the world. #engaged.”
Jones tweeted her excitement as well, even including a picture of the two together.
