Former American Idol contestant Danny Noriega, from Season 7 of the hit Fox show, is making his way to another reality television show - RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Noriega, 24, will compete in the Logo show as his alter-ego Adore Delano.

Noriega told Yahoo about Delano, "She's very, very vulgar, crazy. She's a party animal. She's fun. Just like no f---s are given, you know? Everything I can't do as Danny, I can do as her. She's just punk-rock. She's a punk-rock mermaid!"

TooFab notes Noriega has a feisty side to him, as he exchanged some entertaining banter with then-judge Simon Cowell back in 2008 while on Idol.

RuPaul’s Drag Race will start again in February, and Noriega said ahead of Season 6’s premiere, “I'm just f---ing cool, and I totally have it going on.”

He added of his advantages in the competition, he said, “I think I'm versatile. I take good critique, I have a positive attitude, and I'm not delusional. It's good to treat life like a party when it comes to something as huge as "Drag Race."
