Interstellar, the latest feature film from director, Christopher Nolan has announced a release date and has uploaded a teaser trailer to the web.
Interstellar will be released on Nov. 7, 2014, reported The Hollywood Reporter. This is the first film from Nolan since he completed work on the Dark Knight trilogy. Interstellar started filming back in August.
The teaser trailer features footage of NASA through out the years and a voiceover by the film's leading man, Matthew McConaughey. "We've always defined ourselves by the ability to overcome the impossible, And we count these moments, these moments when we dared to aim higher, to break barriers, to reach for the stars, to make the unknown, known."
Not much is known about the upcoming Nolan project. The official synopsis explains that the film will focus on the future, in a time when, for whatever reason, NASA no longer exists. A mysterious rip in spacetime opens and it's up to whatever is left of NASA to explore and offer up hope for mankind.
The cast includes, McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Ellen Burstyn, John Lithgow, Michael Caine, Casey Affleck, Wes Bentley, Bill Irwin, Mackenzie Foy, Topher Grace and David Gyasi, added Deadline.
Nolan is known for his grand visuals and amazing story telling ability. With successful films such as The Dark Knight and Inception already on his resume, fans are waiting eagerly for this next film from the famous director.
