Jennifer Aniston calls her 30s her 'awkward phase,' says she's 'so happy' now at age 44

Jennifer Aniston loves being in her 40s, even going as far as calling her 30s her least favorite decade of her life. She called it her “awkward phase” and opens up about how happy she is at 44.

In an interview with Parade, the We’re the Millers star, who’s engaged to Justin Theroux, was asked what she knows now that she didn’t know at the age of 25.

“That there’s nothing to worry about — although I don’t think I had a care in the world at 25, either,” she said. “That all started in my 30s, my awkward phase. I’m a little bit of a late bloomer! But it doesn’t matter to me because it just gets better.”

She added, “They do say youth is wasted on the young, but I feel just as youthful now — if not more — than I did when I was 25. I’m more in my body; I’m more in my mind. Life is full. Life is wonderful. We’re very, very fortunate.”

Aniston went through a divorce from her ex-husband Brad Pitt in her 30s, so maybe that had something to do with it. Either way, the former Friends star is in a really good place with her fiancé, Theroux.

When asked when she felt the most beautiful, she said when she’s “just at home with Justin in the morning. Or any time of day I'm with him. My life is so fantastic. I'm so happy.”
