Lea Michele debuts album 'Louder,' release date revealed

Lea Michele reveals her album release date is scheduled for March 4. Michele’s debut solo album is titled Louder and will feature her recently released single “Cannonball.”

Michele calls the album a reflection of her "experiences over this past year" and her "journey as an artist up to this point,” according to AP. The album's eleven tracks were recorded this past year with contributions from artists such as Christina Perri and Colin Munroe.

Michele also said of the album, "There's a lot of emotion but it's also very encouraging and hopeful -- it's about pushing forward and living your life in a way that's louder, stronger and bolder.”

According to Billboard, fans who preorder Louder will also receive an instant download of “Cannonball.” Michele is also set to perform the song on the Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday Dec. 12.
