Remember how Kanye West recently said his singing career was like being a cop or a war soldier? Well, one Ohio police chief is putting Kanye in his place with an open letter posted to the Brimfield Police Department’s Facebook page.
Police chief David Oliver says West biggest problem is thinking he’s more than an “entertainer,” according to TMZ. Oliver also sarcastically expressed his thanks to West for risking his life everyday for us claiming, “I have tried to rap, and it is very difficult.”
According to TIME, he then told West to come join the military.
"After joining, I would like you to volunteer to be deployed in Afghanistan or one of the numerous other forward locations where our men and women are currently serving. When the Taliban starts shooting at you, perhaps you could stand up and let the words flow," Oliver wrote. Oliver then told West he could end war by knocking all their enemies “star-struck.”
He ended his letter with, “Check yourself, before you wreck yourself,” basically telling West what we all have wanted to. Sorry Kanye, you’re just not that special.
