Pearl Jam's manager, Rickey Goodrich, has plead guilty to charges of six counts of theft for embezzling. The manager was charged with embezzling more than $300,000 from Pearl Jam.
The Seattle Times reported that Goodrich has paid back $125,000 of the $300,000 and has agreed to pay back the remaining balance. If he pays the rest of what he owes before his sentencing in late February, he could receive a lesser sentence.
If Goodrich pays everything back before his sentencing, he could receive only six months in jail, as opposed to 14 months if he does not pay back the remaining balance.
Goodrich was found using company accounts to pay personal debts and using Pearl Jam's credit cards to pay for trips and alcohol, The San Francisco Gate added.
Goodrich worked for Curtis, Inc. between 2007 and 2010, and he was the chief financial officer when he left the company. In 2005, he was hired by Pearl Jam Touring Co. and was named CFO of Curtis, Inc. the next year.
Members of Pearl Jam have not commented on the lawsuit and trial.
