Glenn Thomas, aka rapper Doe B, was shot and killed in Montgomery, Ala. on Saturday morning by the restaurant Centennial Hill Bar and Grill.
According to Global Grind, Doe B was only 22 years old when he was killed early this morning.
Through Doe B's Twitter account, the young rapper's management released a short statement confirming his passing, "On behalf of doe b's management i would like to thank all of his fans and say Rest in Peace my brother Glenn thomas."
Reportedly others were hurt or killed during the shooting at the Centennial, but Billboard notes, that has not yet been confirmed.
Doe B survived a shooting three years ago that left him needing an eye patch, which had since become part of his image with record label Grand Hustle's Hustle Gang, which signed him through T.I.
He was fairly new to the label, but appeared on Hustle Gang's compilation album G.D.O.D. and later with a mixtape, titled Baby Jesus.
