Tina Fey and Matt Hubbard's half-hour comedy was officially greenlit by Fox on Monday.
Deadline, who first broke the story, reports that Fox snagged the Fey comedy back in August after a bidding war with several other networks. The show was given a series commitment then, but the greenlight wasn't made official until Monday.
Fey, through her Little Stranger production company, also has a comedy in development at NBC, which was given a similar 13-episode series order back when it too was first announced.
The Fox comedy, which does not yet have a title, will be about a women's university that changes its policies and begins to accept applications from men for the first time, notes Variety.
Hubbard, Fey and fellow 30 Rock co-showrunner Rober Carlock have all signed on for the multi-camera project, while How I Met Your Mother's Pam Fryman will step in to direct and executive produce, which is the same job duties as she had for the now-ending CBS show.
