Music videos made a comeback in 2013. With MTV airing most reality TV shows and video countdowns becoming a thing of the past, it became a viable question if the music video still mattered. Music fans received their answer this year, the music video is not a thing of the past and can still break records.

This year we saw the evolution of Miley Cyrus in both of her VEVO breaking music videos for "We Can't Stop" and "Wrecking Ball." When it comes to creativity in music videos, the bench mark has been set even higher by Cyrus.

Videos also showed a more creative and film-like style this year. Videos like "Holy Grail" and "Get Lucky" really showed that the music video is its own art form that is designed to compliment the original single.

TheCelebrityCafe.com is counting down the top ten music videos of 2013. This countdown is based off of genre, views and overall style of the music video. With such a large number of videos release, it is hard to narrow down the field, so comment below and add your favorite to the list.

If this is what 2013 had to offer, music fans can look forward to another impressive year for music videos in 2014.
