ABC took the win for the night thanks to decent finale numbers from limited series The Great Christmas Light Fight.
For Monday night, ABC averaged about 5.05 million viewers and mustered a 1.3 in the 18-49 demographic, managing to just top NBC. HitFix reports the network started off weak with Christmas specials Shrek the Halls and A Chipmunk Christmas, which both brought in a 1.2 in the demographic. The finale of Light Fight managed a 1.4 rating between its two hours.
NBC snagged second place with a rating of 1.2 in the demo, but lost to CBS in viewers with only 4.61 million. Singing competition The Sing-Off finished its limited run with a weak 1.3 in the 18-49 demographic. Follow up Hollywood Game Night had a weak return with a 1.0 rating.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, CBS aired only encores of its Monday night shows for the evening. The network still managed to best NBC with 4.9 million viewers, but only had a 1.1 in the demo.
Fox trailed with 2.2 million viewers and a 0.5 in the demo after also airing reruns, while iHeartRadio Jingle Ball gave the CW an average of 979,000 viewers and a 0.3 in the demo.
