'The Voice' runner-up already getting calls about opportunities

By Chelsea Lewis ,

This Tuesday it was announced that Tessanne Chin, a member of Team Adam, won the fifth season on NBC's vocal competition The Voice but the news is not all bad for runner-up, Jacquie Lee.

Lee was the last remaining member of Team Christina and the runner-up admits that she shed tears when Chinn's name was announced as the winner, but tears of joy. Lee said that making it to the top three was winning enough for the 16-year-old vocalist.

After the winner was announced, Lee had to go and attend a mandatory meeting with the show’s resident therapist. NY Daily News reported. All contestants must meet with the therapist following their departure from the show, but after that Lee said that she enjoyed time with her family and friends and went back on the red carpet.

Lee is already getting offers from people in the industry but would not provide any names, only saying that the phones have been ringing.

MTV added that when the young vocalist spoke with them, she had her eyes on a duet with Ed Sheeran and was enjoying the tweets of support from major artists in the industry.
