This Week in Television: 12/9-12/14

There are lots of holiday specials and episodes airing this week as we head into winter hiatus, so read on to find out what your favorite show is doing to celebrate the season.

Monday, Dec. 9: Watch Christmas specials Santa Claus is Coming to Town and The Great Christmas Light Fight on ABC. Also, a rock star brings in some new business on 2 Broke Girls, and John Noble and Amandla Stenberg guest star on Sleepy Hollow. Plus, watch the season premiere of a capella competition The Sing Off, hosted by Nick Lachey, on NBC.

Tuesday, Dec. 10: J. August Richards returns to guest star on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, and the team must locate a former Romanian Communist leader on NCIS: Los Angeles. Plus, FOX broadcasts the fourth annual American Country Awards, and Firehouse 51 fights closure on Chicago Fire.

Wednesday, Dec. 11: Bryan Cranston directs a special Christmas episode of Modern Family, and see the fall out from last week’s rock drawing on Survivor. Plus, the top acts perform live on The X Factor, and NBC airs Kelly Clarkson’s Cautionary Christmas Music Tale.

Thursday, Dec. 12: Alice and Cyrus have to make difficult sacrifices on Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and Ashley Tisdale guest stars on The Crazy Ones. Also, the club has to decide between two possible performances on Glee, and Sean searches for a new best friend on Sean Saves the World.

Friday, Dec. 13: Mandy arranges an anonymous holiday surprise for their housekeeper on Last Man Standing, and the team investigates a bombing on Blue Bloods. Also, Burt and Virginia go undercover on Raising Hope, and Alexis Denisof guest stars on Grimm.

Saturday, Dec. 14: Check out CMA’s Country Christmas on ABC, or holiday specials Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman on CBS. Also, watch It’s a Wonderful Life on NBC.
