If football doesn’t rank high on your interests, here’s a stylish reason to get excited for the big game. In honor of Super Bowl XLVIII, Bloomingdale’s and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) have joined fashion forces with the NFL to create a one of a kind designer helmet auction.

Designers such as Betsy Johnson, DKNY, Alice + Olivia, TOMS, and Nicole Miller, have come together to design seriously fashion forward helmet styles. From feathers to sparkle, the designers have created 48 different helmets that bring a bit of style to the traditional feel of the sport.

The helmets will be open for bidding, starting at $248 each. All proceeds will go to the NFL Foundation to support community youth football and NFL Play 60.

The jeweled out helmet pictured above, designed by Dannijo, is currently running for a bid of $575, while the floral feel of Nicole Miller’s helmet design tours above at almost $800.

While the fashionable helmets won’t be seen on the football field any time soon, they will be on display at the NYC Bloomingdale’s location from January 15th through February 4th. If you can’t make it down to the store, check out the 48 designs online.
