Cassandra Lynn, a Playboy Playmate, has reportedly died from a possible drug overdose. She was 34-years-old.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ, which first reported the news, that she was found in a friend’s home on Wednesday in Los Angeles, floating in the bathtub. The friend called the authorities and when paramedics arrived, they could not revive her.
Police are investigating Lynn’s death as an overdose and they do not suspect foul play.
Authorities confirmed the sad news to E! News. The official cause of death will be confirmed after an autopsy, which may be completed as soon as later today.
Lynn was a Fairfax, Virginia native who appeared in a 2006 Playboy centerfold. Just last month, she spoke with Metropolitan magazine about life since Playboy.
“I have been a part of many great experiences: travel shows, magazine covers, and of course giving advice to young impressionable girls who think they need to act a certain way for a chance to be a model (classy not slutty),” she told the magazine.
Lynn was an active Twitter user with a verified account and nearly 8,000 followers. She sent her last real tweet on Monday and since then, automatic tweets with her horoscope have appeared.
