CBS has announced that they will be airing the second season of the breakout hit show, Under The Dome on June 30. The show will return to its original Monday 10 p.m. time slot.
Under The Dome stars include Mike Vogel, Rachelle Lefevre and Natalie Martinez.
Deadline reported that ABC also announced when their latest show with Halle Berry, Extant, will be airing. The show is set to debut three days after Under The Dome on Wednesday during the 9 p.m. time slot.
Following the success of shows like Under The Dome, CBS has inked a deal with Amazon.com to carry certain shows for online streaming through Amazon Prime, according to Daily Finance.
Extant will be available online through Amazon Prime, as well as season two of Under The Dome.
Last summer Under The Dome was the most-watched summer scripted television series over the past few years and averaged about 15 million viewers an episode.
Amazon director of content acquisition for digital video Brad Beale spoke about the success Prime gained from airing Under The Dome. "We received very positive feedback from Prime members about this summer's exclusive access to Under the Dome. Customers loved being able to watch the show just days after it aired as well as catching up on previous episodes," said Beale.
