The Pope gave moms the go ahead to breastfeed their children in the Sistine Chapel, acknowledging that the children were the most important people in the room. This is just another way in which Pope Francis is setting himself apart from his predecessors.

The chemical spill in West Virginia is going to take days to clean up. A state of emergency was declared for nine counties on Friday. Many West Virginians have been without usable water for three days. Good thoughts sent their way for a speedy clean up and limited environmental impact.

DreamWorks and YouTube are joining together to produce a series of daily shows to highlight the best entertainment on the site. You can look for this new series next week.

Herbie Hancock is adding teacher to his résumé. He’ll be teaching poetry at Harvard University. Hancock will be giving a series of lectures ranging from Buddhism to Miles Davis, but mostly focusing on his personal and professional life.

Pamela Anderson is no longer a single gal. She took a page out of Elizabeth Taylor’s book and married her ex-husband, Rick Salomon. She shared the news while at the Help Haiti Gala thrown by Sean Penn. U2 played a surprise gig at Penn’s third annual fundraiser. Anderson Cooper donated/bid $1.4 million to win a sculpture made from Sean Penn’s discarded firearms.
