The Grammys are only days away, but the Recording Academy is still not finished adding performers for the biggest night in music. The Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl was added today, along with Lindsey Buckingham and Nine Inch Nails.
Grohl, Buckingham and Nine Inch Nails will be joined by Queens Of The Stone Age for an epic jam finale that has become a tradition for the Grammys. One can never tell who else Grohl can coax into getting on stage for an epic finale.
The Recording Academy also added Gary Clark Jr. and Hunter Hayes to the list of nominees.
One of the most anticipated Grammy performances of the night will come from Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney. Although the former Beatles will both be there, Starr said their performance together will be saved for Monday’s Beatles tribute show, which will not air until Feb. 9.
The other performers announced so far include Taylor Swift, Sara Bareilles and Carole King, Kendrick Lamar, Imagine Dragons, Daft Punk, Stevie Wonder, Lorde, Katy Perry, Lang Lang, Metallica, Chic’s Nile Rodgers, Pharrell Williams, Chicago and Robin Thicke, Blake Shelton, Merle Haggard, Kris Kristofferson and Willie Nelson, John Legend, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Kacey Musgraves and Keith Urban.
The Grammys are set for Sunday at the Staples Center and will air on CBS.
