Disney Junior, the channel aimed at kids 2-7, has renewed three shows, Sofia the First, Doc McStuffins and Jake and the Never Land Pirates.
According to Deadline, who first reported the renewals, Sofia and Doc were re-upped for a third season, while Jake will get a fourth.
The renewals aren't surprising as all three shows have managed to sit high in the ratings among shows aimed at 2-5-year-olds in 2013. Sofia was actually the second-most-watched show ever in the demo, while Doc was nominated for Annie Awards.
"Sofia the First, Doc McStuffins and Jake and the Never Land Pirates do what Disney does best - tell great stories with humor and heart," Disney Junior Worldwide executive vp of programming and general manager, Nancy Kanter , said, notes The Hollywood Reporter.
Sofia follows the adventures of Disney's youngest princess and features the voices of Tim Gunn and Wayne Brady. Doc focuses on a young girl who runs an imaginary clinic for her toys and Jake is about kid pirates who are on Captain Hook's crew in Never Land.
