The Robertson family, best known as the stars of A&E’s now-controversial Duck Dynasty series have now launched their own line of guns.
Gunmaker Mossberg has teamed up with the family, which owns the Duck Commander company, to create a line that includes nine shotguns, two semiautomatic rifles and one semiautomatic pistol, reports CNN Money. Mossberg spokeswoman Linda Powell told CNN that some of the shotguns have already shipped, but wouldn’t say what stores will sell them.
Although Duck Commander makes products specifically for duck hunting, many of the guns that are part of Mossberg’s line are not intended for that purpose. The Duck Commander logo will be featured on each gun and they have the “waterfowl pattern” camouflage color scheme. The guns will even come with an American flag bandana, just like Willie Robertson’s.
Duck Dynasty, A&E and family patriarch Phil Robertson came under scrutiny when Robertson’s anti-homosexuality comments were published in GQ. Robertson was suspended from the show, but after complaints, he was reinstated days later. The show didn’t film any parts of the fifth season while he was suspended, so he won’t miss an episode.
Duck Dynasty’s fifth season will kick off on Jan. 15.
