Christen Pontius' first visit to LL Hair Studio in Houston, Texas is sure to be her last.
Pontius explained that she was telling the hair dresser that she didn't care if her hair does not turn white, but to get it as light as they could without damaging her hair.
"I was so worried about that," Pontius told KPRC 2 in Houston.
With that, Hedi H., the salon owner, then bleached the client's hair. Afterwards, when Pontius saw the results and realized her hair was blue, she was extremely disappointed.
According to Yahoo! News, Pontius was then told by the salon owner that if it didn't rinse out after a second time, she could return and have her hair bleached out again. Unsatisfied, Pontius told her she would pay half the charge, and then pay the second half when she returned for her color correction. Bystanders say this is when Hedi, the salon owner, became "enraged." She began shoving the customer and demanding a payment.
Jesse Reyes, a witness, captured the incident on camera. During the video, the owner is made aware that she is being recorded. You can then hear her respond with, "I don't care. Give me the money."
Hedi stated that the fix would have been simple if Pontius didn't refuse to pay. She claimed that the customer was trying to steal her product and that she had to be stopped.
Reviews on Yelp.com show more positive than negative. However, one customer shares a comment of dissatisfaction regarding her appointment for hair color. Hedi has responded offering to correct her hair.
