Fox Television Stations has decided not to pick up Kris Jenner's daytime talk show Kris, at least for 2014.
According to Deadline, who first reported the news, Fox could potentially pick up the show for 2015.
Fox TV Stations EVP of programming and development Stephen Brown said, "Kris will not be on the schedule for the 2014 syndication season." He did add, "However, the possibility for the talk show, or an additional project for Kris Jenner, for the 2015 season is being discussed and highly considered."
The Twentieth Television produced show originally took a six-week test drive over the summer last year on some Fox stations and managed to get an interview with her polarizing son-in-law-to-be Kanye West, reports TheWrap.
That interview provided the strongest numbers for Jenner's show, but otherwise the ratings for the show never took off and so nobody was expecting the show to get picked up. Deadline notes that the executives over at Fox do like how Jenner handled herself during the trial run of the show, so they are at least interested in continuing to work with her, even if it ends up not being through her talk show Kris.
