Trouble keeps finding Justin Bieber. The pop star has reportedly been charged for allegedly beating up a limousine driver in Toronto last month.
Back in December, Bieber and the driver apparently got into an argument that turned violent. When TMZ first reported on the incident, a member of the “Baby” singer’s entourage was the target of the investigation. But now, TMZ is reporting that the investigation began to focus on Bieber and police wanted an interview with him. Bieber initially ignored the requests, but is now in Toronto, heading for a police station.
Sources for TMZ said that he’s going to be booked on an assault charge and released. CBC News notes that he will be given a notice to return to police at a later date.
Today’s news comes just days after Bieber’s arrest in Miami Beach. He was arrested for DUI, found to be carrying an expired license and was drag racing.
In an interview with the British edition of GQ, Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, defended his clients actions, noting, “no one really understands what he's living [through], only him.”
There is also a White House petition calling for the singer to be deported. It has reached 100,000 signatures, requiring a response from the Obama administration.
