Justin Bieber's friend Lil Za tweets the 'media is making me someone I'm not' after arrest

Justin Bieber’s friend Lil Za is speaking out about his double arrest on Twitter, seeming to not understand all the media attention surrounding it.

On Tuesday, he assured fans “I’m fine,” but it wasn’t until Thursday that he gave a better explanation.

“Honestly, the media is making me someone I'm not. But only those in my shoes can relate. ... These ppl get paid to make you look bad,” he wrote, adding, “Some stuff I've done has been wrong yes. but look at the position I'm in and the color of my skin. Cocaine? Really?”

He went on to say that he was left alone in his home state of Texas but as soon as he moved to Los Angeles and started associating with Bieber, that all changed.

“All this time I was home in tx nobody gave a f-ck about what Za is doing ..soon as he gets to La he's all over the news,” he wrote.

As we previously reported, Lil Za was arrested after Bieber’s home was raided this week on a search warrant for his egg-hurling incident last week. Bieber and other friends were detained while Lil Za was arrested for drug possession. It was at first believed to be cocaine but later came out that it could be molly, the pure form of ecstasy.

He was taken into custody and while there, caught another felony charge for vandalism when he smashed a phone in.
