Kate Gosselin and twins more chatty on 'The View'

By Alyssa Jean,

For viewers who tuned into the Today Show last Thursday morning, interviewers Mady and Cara, along with famous reality television mother Kate Gosselin, proved quite uncomfortable in their first live television debut. However, the twins were more open while appearing on The View.

Us Weekly reported that the twins were more responsive to The View’s Barbara Walters and co-hosts while being asked similar questions to their awkward Today Show interview.

However, when father Jon Gosselin was mentioned, the girls returned to their silent ways and Kate had to urge them to answer again. When asked about the divorce, Mady spoke out for both of the twins saying, "I think it was harder for you, definitely" she said as she turned to her mom. "It didn't really affect me and we still saw both parents… we were little, we were like 8 or 9."

According to Daily News, the 13-year-old twins and Kate adorned the same outfits as they did in their last TV appearnace. However, the girls were definitely more comfortable and shared giggles and laughs over specific topics. The girls even shared their love for the much-idolized One Direction, while Cara shared her admiration for Demi Lovato.

Jon and Kate Plus 8 made its television debut in 2007, showcasing the life of the Gosselins and their sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel, along with twins Mady and Cara. The series ran until 2011 after Jon and Kate decided split up, leaving the series to change to just Kate Plus 8. However, after two seasons, the reality television show was forced to end its weekly airing.
