Fans and admirers have been anxiously awaiting the news of the sex of Kelly Clarkson’s first child. Would it be a girl or a boy? Clarkson announced on Monday on Twitter that she was indeed having a girl.
According to Today, Clarkson is four months along in her pregnancy. However, she has been predicting the gender of the baby with husband, Brandon Blackstock, before she made the announcement that she was pregnant. Once news of her pregnancy broke, she told Parade Magazine that she believed her soon-to-be born child would be a girl.
Newly married in October of 2013, US Weekly, reflected on Clarkson’s latest appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show where she revealed, "I vomit a dozen times a day. It's like bad. I vomited before coming out here. It's so bad. It's, like, so gross.” Although she may feel “gross,” as she stated, Clarkson is still glowing.
Clarkson took to Twitter to reveal the official news and share her joy at finding out she will be giving birth to a daughter saying, “We just found out we're having a girl officially! I knew it! Only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting ha!” Congratulations to Clarkson and her new husband!
