Lady Gaga is currently denying rumors that her latest album, ARTPOP, lost her label millions of dollars. ARTPOP has been disappointing with album sales, only selling 258,000 units.
Idolator reported that in a recent forum with her fans, she explained that Interscope Records did not lose millions. Gaga went into detail with fans saying, "No truth to many of your comments, including the 25 million dollars deficit.” She claimed that at Interscope “they in fact love me very much and will see ARTPOP to the end.”
Gaga also spoke about how members of her team betrayed her. The "Applause" singer went into detail about how her promotional plan with ARTPOP is only just starting. "The next few months of ARTPOP will truly be its beginning, because those who did not care about ARTPOP’s success are now gone," said Gaga.
These comments have been linked with Gaga's former manager, Troy Carter.
Gaga went on to explain to fans why her latest video was delayed, saying that she was only given a week to put together the video, which is not possible for her since she is devoted to creativity, USA Today added.
