When rumors reached the Mother Monster of Interscope losing $25 million and allegedly forcing them to lay off their employees because of Lady Gaga’s new album “ARTPOP,” she could not stay silent.
According to Yahoo Music, Gaga has released a statement on her LittleMonsters website, saying that there is "no truth to many of your comments, including the 25 million dollars deficit. These are rumors that are being repeated and spread. They are completely untrue."
Gaga has not named names; however she is very hurt and betrayed because of the people who have used her for personal gain, saying “Millions of dollars are not enough for some people. They want billions. Then they need trillions. I was not enough for some people. They wanted more."
Mother Monster went on to say that Interscope has been there for her, and they will continue to support her music as they have with “ARTPOP.” After canceling the remainder of her Born This Way tour, Gaga surprised her devoted fans with a studio version of “Do What You Want” collaboration with Christina Aguilera, according to New York Daily News.
