ABC Family announced it has put in series orders for two new shows, one featuring Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth and the other starring Emily Osment.
According to Deadline, Mystery Girls and Young & Hungry will likely premiere later this year. A decision for a third series, Work Mom, hasn't been made just yet.
The two shows are the first series orders made by network president Tom Ascheim. "It's great to start the new year and my tenure at ABC Family with the pickup of these two funny original series."
The Hollywood Reporter notes that Mystery Girls reunites Spelling and Garth as two actors who played detectives on TV and are hired to solve a real one as a witness to a crime will only speak to them. Miguel Pinzon will also appear on the show, while Maggie Malina, Garth and Spelling will be executive producers.
Young & Hungry stars Emily Osment, as a food blogger who wants to be a wealthy, young entrepreneur's (played by Jonathan Sadowski) chef. Others appearing on the show include Rex Lee, Aimee Carrero and Kym Whitley.
