House of Cards has been very successful for Netflix. The series has brought a variety of television nominations and critical acclaim for Kevin Spacey’s portrayal of Frank Underwood in this political thriller setting. Netflix is now re-releasing season 1 with a DVD-like commentary from the stars of the television drama.

The Internet streaming company recently announced that season 2 of House of Cards will be released in full on Feb. 14. All 13 episodes will be available for fans to watch, reported The Verge. Before that date, fans can now watch season 1 with extra commentary that was just released, Variety reported.

The extra commentary features Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright talking about Cards. The commentary will be available for fans starting Friday and will also feature commentary from all six of the first season’s helmers. The director’s commentary will also be available as an option on the subtitle and alternate audio preference on Netflix.

Even though House of Cards has been released on DVD as a complete season, Netflix will be the only place that fans can hear these bonus features. This is the first time Netflix has this type of commentary on an original show.
