By Chelsea Lewis ,

The Griswold family will be reunited on the small screen. Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo will be staring in a new family comedy from ABC. Chase and D'Angelo had previous worked together in the National Lampoon's Vacation franchise.

Deadline reported that ABC has given the show a production commitment.

The show will be shot in a single camera style and not much is known about the show other than that the storyline will feature D’Angelo and Chase playing grandparents.

No one has been signed on to write the show, but production is likely to start in 2015-2016.

The duo was first seen in the National Lampoon film back in 1983 . Chase had recently been seen on Community and D’Angelo had a reoccurring role on the HBO hit, Entourage, The Huffington Post added.

Chase and D’Angelo stared in four "Vacation" films together. With so much time passing since the couple has been on the screen, fans are left to wonder what the couple will get into on the small screen.
