Kenya Moore, co-star of the reality TV show, Real Housewives of Atlanta, recently underwent surgery to remove fibroids from her uterus.
The former Miss USA told Life and Style that her New Year's resolution was to get pregnant, preferably “within the next six months.” Fibroids, which are tumors, can cause miscarriages, and the removal of them would bring her one step closer to her dream of having a safe and successful pregnancy.
Rolling Out reports that the surgery was successful. The reality star updated her fans on her condition via Instagram, saying, “Thank you for all your well wishes and kind regards. Letting my family and friends know I successfully underwent fibroid surgery as it was reported. Yes, I’m okay. No appetite yet. Excellent female doctors in Atlanta!”
Moore also revealed to Life & Style that she would be conceiving via In vitro fertilization and has already been narrowing down her male candidates. Her list includes her friend Miss Lawrence, who has been featured on the show, and the mystery man she is dating.
Do you guys think that Kenya would be a good mom?
