Actress Rose McGowan says she witnessed a “knockout game” attack in L.A. Thursday.
TMZ reported that McGowan described a masked “evil guy” punch an unsuspecting 65-year-old man who was walking his dog.
The actress took to Twitter and gave a detailed account of what she saw.
"I just witnessed a 65 year old man get punched by an evil guy playing that goddamn knockout game. #criminal #heartbroken #whattheF?!" she wrote.
McGowan went on to tweet that the perpetrator was on a skateboard and she chased, but could not catch up to him.
She also said that the victim was bleeding from his ear, so she called an ambulance for him and that the man’s small dog tried to protect his master during the attack.
The 40-year-old McGowan became famous for her role in the 1996 movie “Scream” and for dating rocker Marilyn Manson, the Daily Caller notes.
Police do not have any suspects in custody and are unsure of the masked attacker’s identity.
