Homeland actor Rupert Friend is currently in talks to replace the late Paul Walker in the Hitman sequel Agent 47.
The project with Fox International originally had cast Paul Walker for the lead role, but sadly the actor passed away in a car accident back on Nov. 30, notes The Hollywood Reporter.
Left without a main character before filming ever started, talks have begun with The Young Victoria actor. Walker did not play Agent 47 in the first film Hitman back in 2007, but rather Justified star Timothy Olyphant.
Agent 47 will be directed by Aleksander Bach, who normally directs commercials. Kyle Ward, Michael Finch and Skip Woods wrote the script for the sequel.
The plot has not been revealed, but will naturally follow Agent 47, who is a bald extremely gifted hitman. According to HitFix, the character is from a video game series also called Hitman, which has had numerous sequels, with another game currently in development.
