It’s believed that Taylor Swift thought for a split second that she won the Grammy award for Album of the Year for Red as proven by her shocked facial expression.
The Grammy went to Daft Punk's Random Access Memories and once the “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” star, 24, realized her name wasn’t called she quickly recovered and clapped for the winner.
When presenter Alicia Keys started to say Random Access Memories, Swift likely thought she was saying Red.
According to Us Weekly, Sara Bareilles, Kendrick Lamar and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis were also up for the award.
Despite not taking home any awards for any of the categories she was nominated in, Swift set social media on fire with her head-banging performance of “All Too Well,” as well as her dancing along to Kendrick Lamar and Imagine Dragons’ performance. She also seemed to really enjoy Beyonce and Jay Z’s opening performance of “Drunk in Love.”
