Thousands of Americans have signed a petition, requesting President Obama deport Justin Bieber to his home country of Canada. Bieber has been angering many people lately with his antics, such as getting arrested for DUI and drag-racing in Miami, Fla. last week.
There are currently 62,426 signatures on the petition, which states, “We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive, and drug abusing, Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked. He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nations youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society.”
According to Fox News, Miami Police Chief Ray Martinez said Bieber had an invalid Georgia driver's license at the time of his arrest.
In order for the White House to respond, the petition needs 100,000 signatures by Feb. 22. Legal experts say, however, that his visa status would only be examined if he were convicted of a felony.
His attorney will likely come to a deal, charging him of lesser charges. However, he is still being investigated on felony vandalism charges in his egg-throwing incident.
