The Wanted have announced that they will be going on an indefinite hiatus once their upcoming world tour ends.

Members of the band — Jay Guiness, Max George, Tom Parker, Nathan Sykes and Siva Kaneswaran — decided they needed a break from being a band and wanted time to pursue individual projects. The band released a statement Wednesday stating that this tour will be their last for a while as they all go their separate ways for the time being.

The band is set to begin their Word of Mouth World Tour in April, which will wrap up toward the end of May. The tour is in support of their latest album,Word of Mouth.

The group formed in 2009, with their self-titled debut album dropping in 2010. According to TMZ, Sykes and George have already started working on new projects.

Their short-lived E! TV show, The Wanted Life, showed the group’s start in the United States. The unacknowledged tension between the group members was a constant storyline for the program.

In the statement released, it closes out by thanking fans for their continued support and says that the band is excited to see their fans while on tour.
