Actress Rosie Perez has some harsh words for singer Jennifer Lopez in her new memoir, Handbook for an Unpredictable Life, out Feb. 25.
According to The New York Post, Perez had some harsh criticism for Lopez. The two met on the hit sketch show In Living Color back in 1991. Perez, who is also a choreographer, first saw Lopez during the casting call for In Living Color and saw that she was a pretty girl.
However, Keenan Ivory Wayans, who created In Living Color, thought otherwise and didn't want to hire Lopez because he thought she was fat. Perez became an advocate for Lopez and convinced Wayans to hire her. However, Perez says that Lopez changed over the years and became a diva and that after becoming famous in Hollywood, Lopez made mocking remarks about Perez.
The New York Daily News reveals that Lopez told people that while on In Living Color, Perez treated Lopez badly. But, after years of feuding with Lopez, Perez has put it behind her and has moved on from it.
