The cast of the upcoming Alive Alone has been announced and features Idris Elba, Sam Worthington and Noomi Rapace.
Alive Alone is a New York-set thriller which was just sold at the Berlin film festival by Protagonist Pictures. The film is going to start shooting in March and marks the directorial debut of Khurram Longi, Variety reports.
Deadline added that Longi will be working off his own script for the thriller.
Elba will be playing the ex-detainee of Guantanamo Bay who works in transportation. Rapace will be playing a call girl who is on the run from her life and boss, who is played by Worthington. When their lives come together, each character has a unique impact on the other.
Worthington will be working on this project before he starts work on the upcoming sequels to the worldwide popular Avatar, which will be filmed in New Zealand.
Elba was recently seen in the bio-pic, Mandela: A Long Walk To Freedom.
