The Atlanta Braves will be playing April 8 to honor the 40th anniversary of Hank Aaron's record-setting 715th home run during a pre-game ceremony. This will take place before the Braves' home opener of the 2014 season against the New York Mets.
The Associated Press reported Tuesday that the Braves players will be wearing a special commemorative patch on the right sleeve of their jerseys during the season.

John Schuerholz, president of the Atlanta Braves, told MLB.com, "It was such an enormous milestone for him, for our team and for Major League Baseball, and we believe it deserves a season-long celebration."
It will be a special day in Atlanta when this Braves legend is honored for his great contribution to the Atlanta Braves and Major League Baseball.
