Miley Cyrus’ father, Billy Ray Cyrus, has released a remix of his mega-hit “Achy Breaky Heart.” The singer appears in a new video with Buck 22 for “Achy Breaky Heart 2.”
Buck 22, whose parents are Bill Elliott and Dionne Warwick, talked about approaching Cyrus with the idea to remix the famous song.
He said when he asked Cyrus to do another version of the song, "he looked at me for a moment, and said 'lots of people have tried already, but go for it.’”
Rolling Stone reports he continued to say that Cyrus didn’t know at the time that he had already done it, calling it a “fun EDM/hip-hop styled version, which at the time only had a sample from the original of his voice.”
The video features Larry King, who opens it by telling viewers there was an "unidentified flying object seen transcending over Europe.”
The song has a hip-hop feel with scantily-clad women dancing around on a space ship, Mashable reports. The song is currently on iTunes.
