Bruce Jenner is reportedly quitting his family’s E! reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, hoping to create a more simple life away from Hollywood. He’s currently living at a beach house in Malibu and spending a lot more time with his sons from previous marriages.
Jenner is currently cooperating with filming this season, but it’s the show’s last. If the show does get renewed again, he said he will not be returning.
According to TMZ, Jenner wants to focus on flying his helicopters, playing golf and bonding with his family without cameras around.
He has a close relationship with his estranged wife, Kris Jenner’s children with Robert Kardashian; Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob, as well as their own daughters Kendall, 18, and Kylie, 16, but he never had a close relationship with his sons Burt, Brandon and Brody Jenner as they grew up. Now that he does, he wants to continue to strengthen it.
The Daily News notes the show is focusing much less on Jenner this season, considering he’s separated from Kris and moved out of the Calabasas mansion.
Last month, Kendall told Chelsea Handler on Chelsea Lately, "It sucks not having a dad living with you, but I talk to him everyday. I think we're doing fine.”
He's been the subject of a lot of gossip lately due to getting Adam's apple surgery and dying his longer hair in an ombre-style.
