Bruce Springsteen to master ten albums for iTunes

By Chelsea Lewis,

Bruce Springsteen has been on tour, has released a new album and still has time to master ten albums and release them on iTunes. Major hits like "Born in the USA," "Darkness on the Edge of Town" and "Born To Run" have been transferred from analog to digital using brand new technology from Plangent Processes. This was the first time this type of a transfer was attempted.

Along with the singles, Springsteen has mastered Greetings from Asbury Park, NJ, The Wild, The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle and the entire albums are available for download on iTunes, Billboard reported.

All ten albums were remastered by Bob Ludwig, who is known for working on records for the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix and some other rock 'n' roll musical greats.

Springsteen is currently on tour promoting High Hopes. He is currently touring internationally but has plans to return to the United States to play a variety of shows. This is the second time that the Boss has been in Australia and New Zealand in the past 12 months.

The Boss played for over four hours during his last show in Australia, NJ.com reported.
