Celebrity Birthday's, Feb. 1: Harry Styles and Michael C. Hall

Singer Harry Styles and actor Michael C. Hall are celebrating their birthdays Saturday.

Harry Styles, 20

Singer Harry Styles turns 20 today. Styles tried out as a solo act for the UK X Factor. He didn't make it, but was later added to a group created by Simon Cowell, which came to be called One Direction. The group ended up placing third in the competition, but after their single, "Forever Young," was leaked online, they were signed by Cowell.

One Direction released three studio albums, Up All Night in 2011, Take Me Home in 2012 and Midnight Memories in 2013. They released a documentary, One Direction: This Is Us in 2013.

Styles has been romantically linked to television presenter Caroline Flack, and singer Taylor Swift.

Michael C. Hall, 43

Actor Michael C. Hall turns 43 today. Hall started his professional career in the theater, starring in a few famous Shakespearean plays. He played the role of David Fisher in HBO's Six Feet Under from 2001 to 2005. In 2006, Hall played the lead role of Dexter Morgan on Showtime's Dexter from 2006 to its end in 2013.

Hall has also appeard in films including Paycheck (2003), Gamer (2009) and Kill Your Darlings (2013).

Hall has opened up about his cancer in 2010, and said it is now in remission. He has won three Screen Actors Guild Awards for his role in Six Feet Under, and one for his role in Dexter. He also won a Golden Globe in 2010 for his role in Dexter.
