On Monday, Chris Brown was spared jail time on the condition that he was to stay in rehab in connection with his assault arrest last year. It's been reported that the 24-year-old R&B singer stopped by fellow singer Trey Songz’ Super Bowl party after having a meeting with his attorney.
Despite facing assault charges over an alleged October altercation in Washington, D.C., Brown was permitted to leave rehab to meet his attorney, Mark Geragos, according to Daily Mail.
TMZ reports that Brown stopped by because he was under the assumption that the party was for charity.
Sources told TMZ that the singer only stayed for about 10 minutes and he did not drink. While he was there, Brown was accompanied by a rehab employee.
According to Media Takeout, Songz had tweeted a video that had Brown in the background and had posted a picture on Instagram.
They have apparently been deleted, but they can still be found on other online sources.
Brown is still on probation from the altercation he shared with fellow singer Rihanna in 2009 and is said to be finished with his 90-day rehabilitation visit on Feb. 19.
