A dedicated Tennessee Union University Christian ministries student, who taught others about making morally-correct decisions, has been accused of shooting his fiancée and then trying to cover it up to make it look like a suicide.
According to the Daily Mail, Charles Pittman was arrested and charged with murdering his fiancée, Olivia Greenlee and then tampering with evidence in an effort to make it look like shot herself.
The New York Daily News has reported that authorities believe Pittman gunned down Greenlee inside her car in a Jackson, Tenn. parking lot last Tuesday. He then try to stage the scene to make it look like she killed herself.
Police found Greenlee’s body in her vehicle on Wednesday and after a three-day investigation they ruled her death a homicide and charged Pittman with first-degree murder.
Both were students at the university. The 21-year-old Pittman was a Christian ministries major and 21-year-old Greenlee was a senior music education major.
They two were engaged to be married this summer.
