Conan O'Brien is heading to Dallas, Texas for a week worth of shows during the NCAA Tournament next month.
The Hollywood Reporter reports how from March 31 to April 3, O'Brien's show will be broadcast from Dallas. O'Brien's week worth of shows will air during the NCAA's college basketball tournament. During the week O'Brien is there the Final Four games will be played along with the national championship game.
This is the second year in a row that O'Brien will bring his show Conan on the road to the city that the national championship game is taking place. Last year, O'Brien shot Conan from Atlanta, which was the site of last year's Final Four games. Since O'Brien's Conan premiered back in 2010, O'Brien has also traveled to Chicago and New York to film his show.
According to Dallas News, O'Brien will film his show in Dallas at the Majestic Theatre in downtown Dallas. His team has been searching for locations in Dallas for months on where to shoot the show. The Majestic Theatre's general manager, Mike Schwedler, said he has been in contact with O'Brien's team since last August. Schwedler said, “We’ve been sitting on this for a long time."
