Here's our daily wrap for Sunday, February 23

Jimmy Fallon is breaking records as the new host of The Tonight Show and is making NBC some serious money. By moving the show to New York after four decades of production in California, the show is now saving NBC more than $20 million a year. Bill de Blasio, the mayor of New York City, is thrilled to have the show in his city. “Bringing The Tonight Show back to our city means we’re bringing more than a hundred jobs to hard-working New Yorkers, and giving travelers another great reason to visit,” de Blasio said.

Miley Cyrus’ Bangerz tour is constantly making headlines because you really never know what crazy thing the star is going to do next. Last night, Katy Perry attended a show and the two singers shared a kiss! Other celebrities were also at the show, but a video of Cyrus and Perry kissing has been getting all the talk. The two kissed during Cyrus performance of her hit single “Adore You.”

New York Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner has signed a four-year contract worth $52 million with the team to begin after the 2014 season. This will keep Gardner, 30, with the team through the 2018 season. The talented player couldn’t be happier about the deal. “I don’t want to be anywhere else,” he said. “There’s no better place to play baseball than in New York.”
