Fashion designer Donna Karan is reportedly stepping down as the leader of her company after more than 30 years at the helm.
According to Page Six, Karan made a moving appearance at her New York Fashion week show, where she celebrated the 30th anniversary of her company.
After the fashion show was over Karan came out with tears to take a bow, as if it were a signal that she was saying goodbye. Karan started her career off at Anne Klein and she, alongside her late husband Stephan Weiss, went on to launch her company Donna Karan in 1985.
However, a representative for Karan said she's not going anywhere and any suggestions of her leaving are just rumors.
Fashion Times reports how Karan's latest collection was a tribute to New York and many of the models who were in her show were actual people from New York. Karan said the collection was based on New York and how "it was a celebration of the people and their style, the city lights - those are my inspirations."
