Fox picks up 'Home' from Jerry Bruckheimer

By Chelsea Lewis ,

Fox has just added a new family drama from Jerry Bruckheimer to it's lineup.

The network has gone ahead and ordered a series prototype and additional scripts for the drama that would be titled Home. Bruckheimer will be producing the show, The Hollywood Reporter added. The extra scripts would allow the show to quickly pump out several episodes if picked up.

The series is being described as drama that also is a thriller and has soap opera moments. Home will explore secrets that have been taking over a suburban family.

Home will be written by Heroes alum, Aron Eli Coleite. Producing the show will be Bruckheimer along with KristieAnne Reed,
TV Guide reported. Jonathan Littman and Coleite will also be on board to executive produce.

Filming on the show will start this summer. Additional scripts and work will be put into place if the show is picked up for a full series. If the show was to be picked up by Fox no release date has been scheduled.

Fox has already picked up a few new shows including the highly anticipated Batman prequel Gotham which will star some big names in Hollywood including Jada Pinkett Smith.
